After a long deliberation, a new name had been agreed to be used as a pseudonym of AMSUDA, it was Socio-Economic Development Associations of Uyaanians (SENDAU). Abdullah "Daud" Tantao was elected founding president.

In 1996, SENDAU members realized the importance of having the original organization of the AMSUDANians, thus decided to use the AMSUDA International instead. Banker Nawawi M. Mabaning, husband of Prof. Sinab Magayoong-Mabaning, was elected as the 1st president of AMSUDA International with Saleh Ampaso Bucay as his vice president. Since then, AMSUDA International became one of the pioneering members of the Federation of Maranao Associations in Saudi (FEMAS).
